Day 1 - 99 Miles
We start in Baxter Springs, KS and quickly get on Route 66. We will have a stop in Vinita (mile 45) at Clanton’s Cafe (the oldest continually owned family restaurant on Route 66 in Oklahoma) where you can grab lunch. We will end the day in Catoosa (mile 99).
We start the day in Catoosa and will quickly roll through Tulsa (the capital of Route 66). We will have lunch at the Rock Cafe in Stroud (mile 179) and end our day in Arcadia (mile 221).
Day 2 - 122 Miles
Day 3 - 119 Miles
We start the day in Arcadia and continue west until we meet up with a group of local cyclists at the OKC Zoo (mile 240) and make our way down to Scissortail Park where the centennial celebration is happening. We will then ride to El Reno (mile 285) where we’ll have lunch at Sid’s Diner. El Reno is the birthplace of the onion burger, a delicious Great Depression staple intended to make the limited and expensive beef last longer. We will end the day in Hydro (mile 350).
We start in Hydro and will embark on our final day of the ride. We will make a stop for lunch in Elk City (mile 402) at Chuck’s Place. The day ends at the Texas/Oklahoma border in Texola (mile 443).
